Playgroup-
The Gallery Walk and the session 'Magic of Play' were organized for the parents of Playgroup with the objective of showcasing the learning experiences of our young learners through various engaging activities and display of all the activity sheets
The event began with a warm welcome to the parents followed by the morning prayer by the tiny tots of Playgroup.
Thereafter, teachers explained ‘What is play’ and how do a child learn through play by showcasing a skit related to the same.
Further, moving forward parents joined in ‘circle time’ wherein a good morning song was done for all the kids. Story of ‘Browny Bear loves to eat fruits and vegetables’ was narrated. A treasure hunt of fruits was done through rhyme ‘Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see?’.
Moving forward, parents were encouraged to volunteer and participate in the ‘sensory play’ activity. In this activity the volunteers were blind-folded and through different senses they had to identify the fruits.
To enhance their fine motor skills, play dough was provided to all the parents to make their favourite fruit or vegetable.
At the end an action song was done if you’re happy and you know it. Parents actively participated in the Gallery Walk, appreciating the efforts and creativity of their little ones.
Then, the parents wrote a heartfelt note for the school. At the end parents enthusiastically participated in the sports activity of 'Match The Colour' and filled in the feedback form.
