Under the Aegis of Health & Wellness programme  and the inspirational mentorship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director , Social & Emotional Learning, BBGS, Blue Bells Preparatory School hosted SCIFF- School Cinema International Film Festival for parents of Classes I & II on 15.11.25.

At the start of screening the movie and creating the ambience of a movie theatre, parents were asked to get their tickets from the ticket counter and popcorn were also served.

The session started with the PPT, and a video related to Health & Wellness programme, which was followed by Mind Jog Activity. The objective of this activity was to help the parents go down their memory lane through familiar movie snippets which they had enjoyed with their family and friends.

After this fun activity three different movies were screened which emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, building self-esteem, non-judgmental attitude, inspiring mindful consumption of any resource, and ‘never  giving up a mindset that can turn obstacles into opportunities for growth and success.

After the screening of each movie, a discussion was held wherein parents shared their views and experiences. They expressed that they were able to connect deeply with the themes of the films.

The active participation of the parents made the event a great success and created a memorable experience for everyone. Parents were also requested to fill out feedback forms to share their key takeaways from the movies.

Parents enthusiastically participated in the discussion and  enjoyed the session thoroughly.

The Head Mistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal expressed her happiness on receiving an overwhelming response from the parents.

A special screening of movies  was also done for the students of Classes I & II on 20.11.25.

The session  began with a Mind Jog activity that aimed to  build awareness and knowledge about different animals, while also enhancing students’ observation skills.

The key reflections and learning outcomes from the movies included staying positive, never giving up, sharing, caring, and accepting challenges in our day-to-day life. The students thoroughly enjoyed watching the movies and actively participated in the discussions held after each screening, sharing their thoughts and takeaways.
