To mark the Birth Anniversary of the illustrious Indian Mathematician Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan, Brain-O-Mathelatics, a vibrant Math Carnival, was organized for the parents of Grades I and II students. The occasion celebrated young minds as little mathematicians confidently hosted a range of thoughtfully designed, brain-stimulating activities, fostering joy, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for Mathematics.
Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue
Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion as our revered Guest. Ma’am
interacted with the students and participated enthusiastically in all the games
organized by the young mathematicians. She addressed the parents for their
overwhelming participation and enthusiasm. Ma’am praised the students, staff
and parents for their collaborative efforts in putting up the gala event.
As part of the Back-to-School Series, an
initiative of Madam Soumya Gulati, Associate Director, Academic Development and
Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the carnival aimed to give a platform
to our kids, to showcase their mathematical skills through games and fun
activities.
The event witnessed a great deal of
enjoyment and excitement by the parents and students who participated with
great enthusiasm in various activities. Many students, dressed up as clowns,
magicians performed on stage. Students dressed up as reporters also interacted
with audience and covered the whole carnival. Parents stopped to capture a
memory of their kids at the Selfie Station.
The excitement wasn’t limited to just the games.
Throughout the day, excited crowds could be found enjoying all the extra fun at
the Creative Corner and the Food Corner. The young Blue Bellians enjoyed the day
thoroughly even while performing on stage, singing, reciting poems, dancing and
conducting quiz.
A Gallery Walk was also organized for
parents to witness the progression of the themes-‘Landforms’ for Grade I and ‘Celebrations
Across India’ for Grade II students. Explanation of theme boards, was done very
confidently by the students.
The Management and the Headmistress, Ms.
Anu Sehgal praised and applauded the students
for demonstrating their love of learning by participating in the carnival. The
overwhelming response of the parents was truly
encouraging for all at Blue Bells. The event recorded 100% student
participation and offered a truly enriching and memorable experience, as
students joyfully engaged with their peers, parents, and teachers.
