An Inter School IT event Bits ‘n’ Bytes was hosted by Blue Bells Preparatory School on 18^th Nov 2017. Over 110 participants from 18 schools including Blue Bells Preparatory School participated in different events. The various events for different age group were, Tec-Kriti, Tech-O-Vision, Robopower, Art-E-Doodle, Techno Safe, Techie Toes which were judged by eminent IT experts.

The event commenced with the auspicious Diya Lighting Ceremony by  Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development and Innovation) followed by Ganesh Vandana. All the students participated enthusiastically in the events and exhibited exemplary IT skills.

The Chief Guest for the event was Hon’ble Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director Blue Bells Group of Schools. She praised the efforts of the young IT Wiz kids and gave away the prize to the winners.

Bits ‘n’ Bytes, an initiative of Madam Anshuka Aneja, Deputy Director, IT, Blue Bells Group of School were a grand success and was made possible with her constant support meticulous planning.

Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School formally welcomed the guests, judges and participating teams.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Ria Bhandari, Coordinator Nursery LKG and UKG.

The result of the events were as follows

 The Overall Trophy was clinched by Blue Bells Preparatory School.

Children’s day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 15-11-17.The teachers were all set to give a surprise to the little ones with a dance performance. Teachers also rendered a melodious song in praise of children.

Students of Class 2 recited poem on Pt. Jawaharlal Lal Nehru and they paid tribute to a great leader by presenting a talk on him.

The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal addressed the little ones and blessed them for a long, happy and healthy life.

Guruparv was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by the students and Staff of Blue Bells Preparatory School.

Students of LKG presented a programme on this occasion.  Tiny tots of class LKG chanted ‘Mool Mantra’ which was followed by  ‘Shabad’. The chanting of ‘Vaheguru’ echoed in the Blue Bells Preparatory School. The ‘Ardaas’ was performed by Ms. Baljinder Kaur. The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal wished everyone and showered her blessings on the little ones and conveyed that we all should follow the teachings of GuruNanak Devji to be a good human being.

The festival of lights, adorned with the colours of Rangoli was celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 17-10-17 with great verve and enthusiasm. The divine ceremony of Lakshmi Puja was performed by the Headmistress Ms. Anu Sehgal, staff and students of the school.

Dressed in colourful costumes, the students of classes LKG, UKG and I presented a multi-hued programme comprising of a skit depicting the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya, soulful rendition of songs by the students of UKG, I and II, a story by a student of class LKG and a lyrical poem  by UKG students.

The students of LKG spread the social message of celebrating a Green and Safe Diwali through a stupendous skit presentation. The message was loud and clear as all the members of Blue Bells Preparatory School pledged to save the environment by celebrating a “Green Diwali”. ‘No crackers’ Diwali. The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal applauded the efforts of all the students for presenting a wonderful program and extended her greetings to all for a green and safe Diwali. The celebration concluded by giving away the prizes to the winners of the recently held skating championship at Amity International sec-43 and Inter- house Rangoli  Competition.

Students of classes UKG,I, II participated in an Inter House Rangoli Competition and put up their creative skills on the floor and made beautiful designs and patterns of rangoli. Students used their creativity and innovative ideas to bring uniqueness in their rangoli designs keeping in mind that they have to use material which is already used and can be reused along with the rangoli colours. They have used waste material like bangles, CD’s, newspaper, stones and spoons etc. The headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal appreciated each ones efforts.

The results for the rangoli competition were declared as follows-

Pansy House and Tulip House bagged st position.

Daffodil House and Cosmos House bagged 2^nd position.

The creativity in Rangoli Competition by the little ones was appreciated by the visitors and parents who all visited the school premises.

Grandparents Day was celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 7-10-17 with full enthusiasm. The program started with welcome of guests by the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal. Students of Blue Bells Preparatory School paid their tribute to their grandparents by presenting a cultural program which started with Saraswati Vandana followed by a Group Song, Interactive session by the students, poem, dance drama and a bhangra dance.

Various games were organized for the grandparents and they participated with full enthusiasm and bagged prizes.

The pre-primary co-ordinator  Mrs. Rita Bhandari proposed the vote of thanks. The Grandparents enjoyed the program thoroughly and showered their blessings on all of us.

Labour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 01-05-17 at Blue Bells Preparatory school. The students expressed their gratitude to the support staff by presenting them with beautiful cards which they had made especially for them. A melodious rendition by the class 2 students enthralled the audience. A talk by a student of Class II enlightened the students about the significance of this day. The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal also expressed her gratitude to the support staff and extended her best wishes to them. A song was sung by one of the support staff members.

Blue Bells Preparatory School observed Green Day on 21.04.17 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri. B. D. Gulatiji, Founder Chairperson, Blue Bells Group of School. Special Assembly was organized on this august occasion. The occasion commenced with a rendition of soulful bhajans by the students of the school. The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal , in her heart touching tribute to Sir, spoke about his contribution to the field of education and his vision of a green environment . Floral tributes were offered to the great visionary and everyone at Blue Bells pledged to live up to the high ideals and principles that Sir so deeply cherished. On the occasion of Green Day the students were involved in an array of activities – Poster Making, Paper Crumbling, Newspaper Imprint, Cotton Dabbing and Planting Saplings.

Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti were celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 13th April 2017. Students of Class II spoke about the significance of the day. An energetic dance performance by the students of Class II enthralled the audience. Rupsha of Class II spoke the contribution of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in framing the Indian constitution. The Headmistress addressed the students and wished them Happy Baisakhi.

An Orientation Program was organized before the commencement academic session, for the parents of classes Nursery to II. The students of the school welcomed the audience through a melodious group song and a stupendous dance performance. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal welcomed the parents to the Blue Bells family and apprised them of the teaching pedagogy and norms of the institution. Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools, graced the occasion with her vibrant presence. She addressed the august audience and emphasized that we at Blue Bells celebrate the uniqueness in each child and prepare him for the challenges of tomorrow. She also requested them to be active co-partners in the child’s education progress in school. Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health & Wellness, addressed the august audience and through a slide show, focused on how to prepare the tiny tots so that they are ready to step into formal schooling. Ms. Rita Bhandari, Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing, elaborated on the curriculum activities and teaching methodology in the pre-primary classes. The Activity Coordinator, Mrs. Rajni Bhardwaj spoke about the various co-scholastic activities that are an integral part of our curriculum. The Edu Sports team gave a presentation and demo on how the structured sports program is integrated into our school curriculum. A set of the school’s model classroom and display theme boards gave an insight into the teaching learning strategies adopted in school. A large number of parents attended the orientation program and they left feeling proud to be part of the Blue Bells family.
