‘Back to School’ series, an initiative of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, (Academic Development & Innovation) Blue Bells Group of Schools is a series of interactive sessions which aim to acquaint the parents with the techniques and strategies of teaching and learning adopted by the school for their little ones.
A variety of fun-filled stage activities, sports and games such as Tricky Numbers, Magic Square, X-ray Vision, A Minute to Win it, Peg-A-Numberand many more were organized for the parents.
The event witnessed a great deal of fun and excitement by the parents and students who participated with great enthusiasm. Many students, dressed up as mathematicians, clowns, magicians performed various activities on stage.Many interactive sessions were organized between the parents and students through the topic ‘Type of Communication’ and ‘Timeline of Communication’.
A ‘Gallery Walk’ of the work done by students was also organized on the occasion. Students dressed up as reporters also interacted with audience and covered the whole carnival. There was 100% participation by the students in this event.

The session was organized under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development & Innovation), Blue Bells Group of Schools.
The session aimed to provide the parents with the same learning environment that their little one’s experience in school. In this session, a number of interactive & fun filled activities – Hop Scotch, Cross Word, Rhyming Plane andother games were played by the parents to understand the importance of phonic sounds. A skit by the teachers of class UKG explicitly demonstrated the skills which the students acquire through fun filled games. The students of UKG also demonstrated the use of phonic sounds.
A ‘Gallery Walk’ was also organized in the school premises wherein parents witnessed the progression of the work done by their wards in the school.
At the end of the session parents expressed that it had been a wonderful experience and that teaching and learning phonics was great fun.
