‘The Health and Well-being of the children is a Nation’s foremost concern’

 A healthy and strong child grows up to contribute to the progress of society. In solidarity with the initiative taken by the Government of India, Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign was organized in the premises of Blue Bells Preparatory School on 12^th May 2018. A large number of students were immunized against Measles Rubella virus. This nationwide campaign was organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in association with W.H.O. and UNICEF.

The parents and guardians accompanied their little ones to allay their fears and make them feel comfortable while they were being vaccinated. The campaign was conducted in school under the supervision of Dr. Aradhana Choudhury, Medical Officer along with her team, school medical staff and teachers. The overwhelming response and consent of parents certified the colossal success of the drive towards better health and prevention of life threatening diseases. The efforts of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare were indeed praiseworthy and commendable.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in Blue Bells Preparatory School on Saturday, 05.05.2018. The young Blue Bellians welcomed their mothers with a melodious song rendition and a rhythmic dance performance.

The young moms participated enthusiastically and showcased their talent and creativity in a gamut of activities organized for them – My Masterpiece, Decorating Earthen Pot, Laughter Tunes, Fashion Fiesta, Mehendi Art.

Certificates of Participation and herbal plants were presented to the mothers as a token of reverence.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools wished and congratulated all the mothers on this special day. Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director (Academic Development & Innovation), Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion with her benign presence. She addressed and wished all the mothers on this special occasion.  She appreciated them for the wonderful efforts they put in to bring up the little ones with love and care. The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal appreciated the efforts of the talented mothers and conveyed her good wishes to all.

Lanbour Day was celebrated on 1^st May, 2018 at Blue Bells Preparatory School with zeal and fervor, wherein students of class II gave talk on Labour Day, students of class UKG presented a melodious group song and students of class I performed rhythmically on a motivational song to pay a tribute to the hard working support staff of the school. Children also gave badges and cards to them as a small token of love.

                Support staff were also applauded for the prizes won by them in the various games held at Blue Bells Model School.

                The Headmistress addressed support staff and appreciated them for their hard work and also wished them all the best from management side. She praised them for their dedication and devotion towards their duties in the school.

 Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated ‘Green Day’ on 20^th April 2018 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Shri B.D. Gulatiji, Founder Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

Special assembly was conducted on this occasion. The occasion commenced by offering flowers to the great soul, followed by a rendition of soulful bhajan by the students of classes I & II.

Students of Class II presented a dance drama with a message that we should take measures to save our planet ‘Earth’. They expressed their gratitude and spoke about Sir’s contribution to the society. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Staff and students of Blue Bells Preparatory School planted saplings. The headmistress addressed the students and encouraged them to be strong and face hardship in their day to day life. She also added that plants are our green friends and we should be friendly to them and take care of our environment.

Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti were celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School on 13^th April 2018. Students of Class II presented a programme on the occasion. Ishat Kumar Jha anchored the programme confidently. Asmita spoke about the contribution of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in framing the Indian constitution and Charvi presented a talk on the festival of Baisakhi. An energetic Bhangra dance performance by the students of Class II enthralled the audience and took them to the harvest fields of Punjab. The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal enlightened the students about the festival and wished all Happy Baisakhi.

The tiny tots of Nursery and LKG were given a warm welcome as they stepped into the school on their first day i.e Thursday, 29^th March’18 of the new academic session 2018-19. They were greeted and blessed with a ‘tilak’ at the entrance gate and thereby made comfortable in their respective classes. Facilitators made their day enjoyable by narrating stories, reciting rhymes, taking them to swings and playing with them. It was a fun filled day for the new comers.

The new session commenced with the auspicious Hawan Ceremony performed by Headmistress & staff of Blue Bells Preparatory School on 28^th March,2018. On behalf of the management the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal conveyed their greetings & best wishes for the new session. Ma’am also urged the teaching staff to be dedicated, devoted & to be positive in their approach towards their duties of nurturing and educating the students of the school.

An Orientation Program was organized on 24.03.2018 for the parents of Nursery & LKG students in Blue Bells Preparatory School. The students of the school welcomed the audience through a melodious group song and a stupendous dance performance. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal welcomed the parents on behalf of the Management and apprised them of the teaching pedagogy and norms of the institution.

Ms. Rita Bhandari, Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing, elaborated on the teaching methodology and enriched curriculum of pre-primary classes designed at the Learning and Development Cell which is an initiative of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

Ms. Madhu Sharma, Value Education Facilitator acquainted the parents with the Health and Wellness Program at Blue Bells Preparatory School, an initiative of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health and Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The Activity Coordinator, Mrs. Rajni Bhardwaj spoke about the various co-scholastic activities that are an integral part of our curriculum.

A large number of parents attended the orientation program and they left feeling proud to be part of the Blue Bells family.

 Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated the essence of patriotism and nationalism through a dance drama presentationThe Flame of Freedom – Rani Lakshmibai on the Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function on Saturday i.e17.03.2018.

 Shri Sumit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Mrs. Manju Kumar was the Guest of Honour. The function was also graced by the benign presence of members of the management Shri Mahesh Chandra Ji, Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati,Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools and other dignitaries.

 The inaugural ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, the Guest of Honour and members of the management, parents and student representatives of Blue Bells Preparatory School,followed by the formal welcome and Annual Report by Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress Blue Bells Preparatory School.

 The sprawling lawns of Blue Bells Model School reverberated with ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’.Invoking the spirit of Rani Lakshmibai, the students pledged to imbibe the values and virtues of the valiant warrior queen.

 The proceedings of the day began with ‘AmbeStuti’which mesmerized the audience.

 Students were awarded prizes for their achievements in scholastic and co-scholastic activities. A total of 450 prizes were awarded to motivate the young talent. In his address ShriSumit Kumar Deputy Commissioner of Police, appreciated the efforts of the school in providing an excellent platform to the students to showcase their talent and inspired the students to imbibe the virtues of Rani Lakshmibai, her spirit of nationalism and unconditional love for her motherland.

 The curtain was drawn to the spectacular show with Mrs. Rita Bhandari, Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing, Blue Bells Preparatory School, proposing the vote of thanks to eminent guests, members of the press & parents. The National Anthem was played at the end.

Graduation Day Ceremony was held on  12^th March 2018 to bid farewell to the students of class II. It began with a speech by class 1 student to convey thanks to the students of class II for their help and guidance on behalf of all the students followed by dance performances by the of class I. The students of class II left everyone spell bound with their speeches expressing their gratitude to the Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School, Mrs. Anu Sehgal and teachers for their care, concern and for providing holistic development. Good Luck Cards were also given to the students of class II by the students of class I wishing them well in their future ventures. It was indeed a memorable day with mixed feelings. May God bless the children as they move forward to yet another new beginning.
