The students of Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated Grandparents Day on 29.09.2018 and expressed their love, respect and gratitude for them.
The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal accorded a warm welcome to all the grandparents and expressed that they bestow upon their grandchildren, the love, strength & wisdom that time & experience have given them.
The senior guests, who joined the celebrations in large numbers, enjoyed their time as an audience and witnessed the performances of their grandchildren.
The celebration started with a rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the students followed by a programme which included melodious songs rendered by the students in praise of their grandparents.
The very enthusiastic students staged a dance drama ‘Around the World in Eight Dollars’ taking their grandparents on a voyage abroad. They entertained their grandparents through dances of different parts of the world.
The grandparents also participated actively in a number of games that were organized for them and an opportunity to showcase their talents.
The occasion was a tribute to the divine inspiration of the grandparents whose guidance has made a remarkable contribution in shaping the future of our country.
The Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools and the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal conveyed their gratitude and respect to all the Grandparents.

An Inter House Board Decoration Competition was organised in Blue Bells Preparatory School for the students of Classes UKG, I and II on 10th September 2018. A team of eight participants participated from each house. The students were given the choice of selecting the theme of the board. The students of the school depicted the true colours of freedom though a captivating drill performance with Hoola Hoops and cultural dances depicting unity in diversity.
On the occasion, Madam Soumya Gulati , Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools, addressed the students and encouraged them to be responsible citizens of India . She also gave away the prizes and overall Trophy to the proud winners of the Inter School competition of St. Xavier’s High School and Shalom Hills Group of Schools and applauded their efforts in putting up such stunning performances.

Vanmahotsav was celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School with great enthusiasm on Friday i.e. 6th July’18. The day started with the plantation drive in the school premises. The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal and Mrs. Rita Bhandari , Co-ordinator, Pre- Primary Wing , along with the staff and students planted saplings and trees of Guava, Banana, Amla, Bougainvaillae, Litchi, Pomegranate , Ashoka and Mango inside the school premises. Students from different classes expressed their concern to preserve ‘Flora and Fauna’ in their own small ways and conveyed the importance of our ‘Green Friends’ in our lives.
The students of Nursery and LKG dressed up in various form of Flora and Fauna and spread the message of harmony and co-existence. The students of Class UKG, dressed in green attire, recited poems on the beauty of God’s creation, the trees and plants. Students of class 1 enacted and expressed the importance of clean and green environment and were also made aware of the adverse effect of cutting down the trees. Class-2 students exhibited a Tableau depicting an amazing scene of Flora and Fauna existing in harmony.
The members of the Management congratulated and applauded their efforts in contributing to spread awareness of a Green and Clean Environment.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal motivated the students to plant at least one tree with the help of their parents in the neighborhood.
Different slogans like- “Go Green”, Each one plant one”, Save our planet Earth etc echoed in Blue Bells Preparatory School.

The Investiture ceremony of Blue Bells Preparatory School for the session 2018-19 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special assembly on 4th July, 2018.
On this great occasion the Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal and Mrs. Rita Bhandari, Co-ordinator, Pre- Primary inducted the newly elected members of the Student Council and honored them with sashes and badges. They congratulated the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains, Vice Captions and Prefects. The ceremony was organized to entrust the duties and responsibilities to the newly appointed members of the Student Council.
The Student Council members pledged to shoulder their responsibilities with sincerity and discipline. The Headmistress encouraged and motivated the students to be committed to their duties and be role models for the other students.
