Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri in a splendid manner and with great enthusiasm. The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal , staff and the students paid homage to the Father of the Nation and to the 2nd Prime Minister of India, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri .
The students of Class II presented an exceptionally amazing skit depicting the life of the Father of the Nation, his contribution in India’s freedom struggle and the principles and values that he believed in. They presented the philosophical and pragmatic ideals of Gandhiji - Nonviolence, Truth, Swadeshi and Swachh Bharat in a very effective way. The skit concluded with a graceful dance performance on ‘Swachh Bharat Ka Irada…’ and ‘Sabarmati ke Sant’. The students emphasized through the skit and placard the ideology and teachings of the Mahatma and how they are still relevant in our lives. The favourite song of Gandhiji- ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ and ‘Vaishnava Jana’ was chanted melodiously by all the students in unison.
The Head Mistress Ms. Anu Sehgal urged the students to uphold the values and ideals of Gandhi ji and Shastri ji. She encouraged the children to contribute to the Swachh Bharat campaign by keeping their surroundings and nation clean and green. She motivated them to be diligent and devoted to their duties and always follow the path of truth and wisdom.

Dancing and painting their dreams live were the nimble dancers of Blue Bells Preparatory School in an Inter House Western Group Dance Competition. The school believes in equipping our budding and talented students with skills and confidence. The Dance competition provided an opportunity to the students to develop all aspects of creativity, knowledge, teamwork, perseverance and resilience. The vivacious little dancers enthralled the audience with their energetic and rhythmic performances. Dressed in vibrant, colourful costumes the young dancers twirled, flipped and jumped using interesting props like hats, chairs, sticks, hoola hoops, rainbow fans that added charm to the performances. The Headmistress, Mrs Anu Sehgal appreciated the untiring efforts of the students and teachers in preparing such stunning and extravagant performances. Daffodil House emerged as the winners followed by Tulip as 2nd, Cosmos and Pansy house tied for the 3rd position.

This was the feeling portrayed by the little ones from Class I of Blue Bells Preparatory School, when they solemnly celebrated Teachers’ Day with great gusto and gaiety on 4th September 2019. Students performed a scintillating show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The programme incorporated talk, songs, dance and skit indicating how teachers play a vital role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. The programme concluded with the address of Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal wherein she, on behalf of the Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools, extended her heartiest thanks to all the students and urged them to be virtuous and respectful towards their teachers.

An Inter House Nukkad Natak competition was held on 28.8.19. This platform encouraged the very talented young Blue Bellians to stage street plays and showcase their theatrical skills and create an awareness on social issues pertaining to a Progressive India. Every play conveyed a relevant message on Clean India, Digital India and A Healthy and Educated India. The students were actively involved and showed great exuberance and creativity to convey their message. The young Blue Bellians addressed their audience and persuaded them to shoulder the responsibility on taking India to greater heights of glory. The Headmistress Mrs Anu Sehgal was elated to see the zeal and enthusiasm of the energetic actors and their innovative presentations. She urged the students to be collectively responsible and disciplined to take India into the future as one of the great super powers.
Pansy and Tulip House were adjudged the joint winners and Cosmos and Daffodil tied for the second position.

Janamashtmi, the birth of Blue Prince, Lord Sri Krishna, was celebrated at Blue Bells Preparatory School with great fervour & devotion. The students of LKG presented a talk conveying the divine message of Supreme Lord. A mesmerizing dance drama depicting the leela’s of Lord Krishna was enacted by the tiny tots of LKG. The little ones, dressed up as Krishna and the Gopis, enthralled all with their scintillating performance. The students of Nursery enlightened all with a talk, a melodious bhajan and a glittering dance performance. Class II students presented dance performances on harmonious bhajans of Krishna.
On behalf of the Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal extended heartfelt wishes and conveyed that ‘let there be love, light, happiness and laughter in the life of all with Krishna’s Blessings’. She honoured the winners of the Inter School Competition at St. Xavier’s High School and Shalom Hills Group of Schools by giving away the prizes to them. She applauded their efforts for putting up such stunning performances. The Headmistress Mrs. Anu Sehgal also inspired the students and urged them to contribute to the progress of the nation. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of patriotic songs, rhythmic dance performances, display of yogic exercises, presentation of martial arts and synchronised drill performance. The students expressed their sentiments of love for their motherland through a talk.
