Diwali the festival of lights is an occasion to celebrate the victory over defeat, light over darkness, awareness over ignorance. The school wore a festive and colourful look on this occasion. The celebrations began with the Laxmi Puja performed by The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal, the staff and students of the school.
Dressed in colourful attires, the very enthusiastic students of class LKG presented a skit, a dance and spoke about the significance of the festival. The UKG students also presented a street play, a vibrant dance and a melodious group song. The students of classes I and II adorned the entrance of the school with beautiful Rangoli designs. Through their stunning performances, the students conveyed the importance of celebrating a Safe, Green and Clean Diwali. The celebrations ended on a joyous note when the Headmistress, on behalf of the Management, wished all a very Happy, Joyous and Safe Diwali.

The final match of the tournament was played between the teams of Pansy and Cosmos House. Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion with her vibrant presence and encouraged the students to play the game with full sportsman spirit. Colourful balloons took flight to set the mood for the match. The enthusiastic student spectators experienced a thrilling performance with the two teams exhibiting their best sporting skills. In a nail biting finish, Pansy House emerged the winners and Cosmos the runners up. The Best player award was bagged by Krishnansh Kathuria of Pansy House and Vihaan Arora of Cosmos House. The Headmistress Mrs Anu Sehgal was a keen spectator throughout the match, enjoying every moment of it. She applauded and congratulated the sporting stars for their exhilarating performance on the field and honored the sports stars with medals and trophies.

In an endeavour to acquaint the parents of UKG students, with the latest teaching learning techniques and strategies adopted at Blue Bells Preparatory School, a session ‘Read-O-Phonics’ – a part of the ‘Back to School Series’, was organized on 19.10.19. The session was organized under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools.
The interactive session aimed to provide the parents with the same learning environment that their little ones experience in school. A number of interesting & fun filled activities – Hop Scotch, Cross Word, Rhyming Plane and other games were played by the parents which help in decoding and recognizing words. They were also acquainted with the processes of ‘phonic’ and ‘phonemic awareness’ that are the critical components needed, to teach a child how to read.
A skit by the students explicitly demonstrated the reading skills which they acquire through fun filled games.
A ‘Gallery Walk’ was also organized in the school premises wherein parents witnessed the progression of the work done by their wards in the school.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal, advised and encouraged the parents to spend more time with their children and help them to read by adopting similar interesting activities and techniques that were demonstrated and explained to them. She also expressed her thanks to the parents for sparing their valuable time. At the end of the session, parents expressed that it had been a wonderful experience and that teaching and learning phonics was great fun.

In an endeavour to acquaint the parents of Nursery and LKG students, with the latest teaching learning techniques and strategies adopted at Blue Bells Preparatory School, Sessions- ‘Reading and Writing Readiness’and ‘Fun with Numbers’ – a part of the ‘Back to School Series’, were organized on 12.10.2019, under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools.
Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools emphasized on bringing students close to nature and letting their imagination take wings which ultimately leads to acquiring numeracy and language skills.
The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal welcomed and addressed the august audience. She interacted with the parents and encouraged them to spend more quality time with their little ones by involving them in various activities which stimulate their interest and help them in acquiring new concepts and skills.
The sessions aimed to provide the parents with the same learning environment that their little one’s experience in school. The teachers involved the parents in a number of interactive & fun filled activities like ice breaking games, games on sorting, pattern making, bingo, sports, art and craft etc. A skit by the teachers of class LKG explicitly demonstrated the concepts and skills which the students acquire through fun filled games.
A ‘Gallery Walk’ was also organized in the school premises where the parents witnessed the progression of the work done by their wards in the school and the trans -disciplinary approach wherein all the domains of learning are interwoven in the theme.
The Parental corner exhibited the involvement of parents in the learning process of their children.
At the end of the session, parents expressed that it had been a wonderful experience and that teaching and learning with children was ‘great fun’.

The students of Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated Grandparents Day on 5.10.19, with great love and admiration for their grandparents who were a special audience on the special occasion. The programme began with a formal welcome by the Headmistress, Ms Anu Sehgal. In her speech, the Headmistress said that grandparents are the greatest gift of God and with their hearts of gold, they embrace their grandchildren with the world of love, care and affection, imbibing in them, the values of life.
The students of class II welcomed the grandparents, honoured and thanked them through their heart touching speeches and poem. They expressed their love and respect for them by using extravagant terms for them -‘Best friends, Best support, Best cooks and Awesome teachers’.
The students of classes UKG, I and II rendered a melodious song, expressing their admiration and respect for their grandparents. An amazing dance drama by the students depicting the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna was a reflection of the great values and ideals that grandparents imbibe in their grandchildren.
Interactive fun games were planned and the very sporting grandparents enjoyed them thoroughly, making them feel special. The special day for grandparents was indeed a memorable one for them as it brought beaming smiles on their faces.
The grandparents attended the program in large numbers and took this opportunity to praise the Founding Members of Blue Bells Group of Schools, for giving the city of Gurugram a school that imparts the best education.
They also praised the Headmistress and staff for their untiring efforts in imparting the best education and values to their grandchildren.
On behalf of the Management, the Headmistress thanked the grandparents for their presence and enthusiastic response. She also expressed her gratitude for their continuous guidance and support to their grandchildren.
The grandparents were elated to receive beautiful planters and left feeling proud to be part of the Blue Bells family.
