Thanks Giving Day was organized for the students of class UKG wherein parents from different professions were invited to make our students aware of different occupations and their importance to the society.
This Session was divided in two slots wherein parents came dressed in their Uniform and brought their tools to show it to the students.
The professionals like Doctor, Nurse, Lawyer, Teacher, Author, Banker, Pilot, Baker, Office Assistant from Post Office, Engineer, Dentist and An Ayurveda Doctor graced the occasion with their presence. The session started with welcome speech and Green Welcome to the parents followed by recitation of rhymes by the students of UKG. The students enjoyed guessing the profession of different parents by solving the riddles.
In a very informative and interacting session, the parents shared their valuable experience and answered the questions of the students.
The Head Mistress, Mrs Anu Sehgal thanked all the parents on behalf of the Management for taking out their precious time to meet our students from their busy schedule.
The students were very glad to meet them and presented the parents with handmade ‘Thank you’ cards.

Republic Day was celebrated at Blue Bells Preparatory School with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on Friday i.e 24.01.20. The celebration began with the hoisting of the tricolor by Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools followed by a March past by the students of classes I and II.
The students of class II presented a talk glorifying the spirit of unity and brotherhood followed by a rendition of patriotic song by the students of Class UKG, I and II. The tiny tots of Nursery & LKG presented an action song portraying the true colours of India. The young students of Classes UKG, I and II displayed a perfect synergy of body, mind and soul through an aerobic performance and also presented a captivating dance performance.
Madam Soumya Gulati addressed the young Blue Bellians and spoke about our rich cultural heritage and appreciated the efforts of young ones for presenting such a wonderful cultural show. She also honoured the winners of the Annual Athletic Meet by giving away the prizes to them.
The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal, highlighted the significance of the day and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the Ceremonial Diya by members of the Management, Parents and Student’s representatives of Blue Bells Preparatory School. Ms. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School welcomed the august audience.
Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools addressed the audience and applauded the efforts of the little Blue Bellians who had participated with such zeal and enthusiasm. She thanked the parents for their support and cooperation in all the events organized in the school.
La Belle Licit - Cinderella was an effort from the wonder kids of Blue Bells Preparatory School to express their emotions, dreams and desires. The tiny tots of Nursery mesmerized the audience through a Welcome Dance. This musical presentation exclusively by the students of LKG transported our audience into the world of dreams and fairy tales through their enchanting performance.
The colorful costumes and beautiful props which added charm to the event were all an in-house effort. It was indeed momentous to see nearly hundred percent participation of the young ones.
The curtain was drawn to the show with the Vote of thanks and the playing of the National Anthem which was sung with pride in unison.

Students had a fun filled day by participating in an array of visual and brainstorming activities – Let’s Go Coding, Art and Craft, Crazy Science, Let’s Laugh and Dance, Colour Zone, Potter’s Wheel, Make and Build and Rock Climbing. The activities based on the multiple intelligences aimed to explore and enhance the kinesthetic, interpersonal, creative, linguistic, logical, musical skills and intelligences in the students.
Madam Soumya Gulati, Assistant Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School visited all the activity areas and participated along with the children in various activities during the sessions.

The BMW Road Safety Awareness Programme ‘Be Safe and Be Smart’
‘A child who learns about traffic rules and road discipline will grow up to be a law-abiding citizen. The habit of obeying traffic rules teaches a person a sense of responsibility and empathy for others.
To disseminate information and create awareness among school children about road safety, IL & FS Education in partnership with BMW organized the BMW Road Safety Awareness Programme, ‘BE SAFE AND BE SMART’ for the students of Blue Bells Preparatory School -Classes I and II on 11th and 12th of December 2019. The event was organized with the objective of empowering students with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes to shape them into responsible citizens who are aware of road safety and rules. The programme included an audio visual session on ‘Road Safety Awareness’ which was very interactive, age appropriate and interesting. This session kept the students totally involved which was reflected in the questionnaire done by them. The Audio Visual presentation was followed by the simulation model wherein the students rode the BMW toy cars and bikes and learnt about the various traffic signs. It was a very fun filled and good learning experience for the students.

Back to School series, an initiative of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools is a series of interactive sessions which aim to acquaint the parents with the techniques and strategies of teaching and learning Mathematics adopted by the school for their little ones.
A ‘Gallery Walk’ showcased the progression of themes and work done by students. Variousfun-filled stage activities like Song, Dance , Recitations, Brain Teasers and many games such asSolve Riddles, Number Mania, Maths Tambola, A Minute to Win it, Peg-A-Number, Think-Tac-Toe, etc were also designed for the parents.
The event witnessed a great deal of fun and excitement by the parents and students who participated with great enthusiasm. Many students, dressed up as clowns and magicians performed various activities on stage. Various Interactive sessions for the parents were organized wherein the students acquainted them with the progression of the themes ‘Landforms’ and ‘Celebrations’.This event witnessed 100% participation by the students.

Blue Bells Preparatory School bagged the First prize in the event ‘Fiesta fervor’ for LKG students, Blue Bells Public School won the Second prize and DAV, Sec 14, won the Third prize. In the event ‘Rap Rockers’ for class UKG, DAV, Sec 14 stood First, Lions Public School the Second and Blue Bells Preparatory School the Third. In the event ‘Comedy ka Overdose’ for class I Lord Jesus Public School were the proud winners by bagging the First prize. Open Sky School stood Second and Blue Bells Preparatory School won the Third prize.
In the event ‘Twist –A- Tale’ for class II, Lord Jesus Public School won the First prize, Blue Bells Preparatory School bagged Second prize and DAV Public School won the Third Prize.
The coveted Overall Trophy was lifted by Lions Public School, Gurugram. The members of the Management and the distinguished guests congratulated and applauded the creativity and efforts of the little ones.
