Celebrating the colours of Freedom………  Virtual Independence Day Celebration

Let us celebrate the glory of Free India and uphold the Pride and honor of being an Indian.”

Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated and rejoiced in the spirit of a free India on the eve of our 75^th Independence Day.  Ms. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School, unfurled the Tricolour on the grounds of the school. The live broadcast of the flag hoisting ceremony was testimony to the fact that social distancing did not dampen the patriotic fervour of the Blue Bells fraternity. With great pride and patriotic zeal, the young Blue Bellians, members of Management, the Headmistress and staff, paid rich tribute to the freedom fighters. Special words of gratitude were expressed for the frontline Heroes working tirelessly during these difficult, uncertain times of Covid 19.

Feeling proud to belong to a glorious nation, the students presented a vibrant cultural programme showcasing their talent, commitment and dedication towards their nation. It included a patriotic song, ball drill, action song, dance and role play of the ‘Unsung Heroes” of the freedom struggle. The digital broadcast of the program drew a large audience of the Blue Bells family who witnessed the entire program.

Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion with her benign presence. She addressed the parents and appreciated them for their active participation in all our ventures.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal and all members of the Management applauded the 100% participation of the students. Blue Bells Preparatory School believes that every child is unique and a storehouse of innate capabilities and Summer break is the most apt time to hone their skills and talent. The Summer Fun activities are exclusively designed to help the students explore, enjoy, learn and cultivate new interests.

Students had loads of fun on Day 1 when they were engaged in interesting activities ranging from sports to science experiments, dance to flameless cooking and clay play to personality development.

Blue Bells Preparatory School celebrated Labour Day virtually, to honour the hard work and efforts of the support staff, who work tirelessly and with great zeal. We have always believed that it is small acts of kindness that count and we attempt to inculcate that same virtue in our children by celebrating this day every year. The teachers briefed the students about Labour Day and its importance. The students expressed their respect and gratitude through a talk, self-made Thank You cards, posters and paper flowers which they had made especially for the workforce of our school. The activities were designed to inculcate the values of respect and gratitude for the labour workforce, among our students. The school support staff were overwhelmed watching the program virtually and expressed their gratitude for the school Management, teachers and students for their endeavours. The Management, the Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal, congratulated the labour workforce and lauded their ceaseless efforts and their priceless contribution in the smooth functioning of the school.   Click here to view more images.    

‘A True leader has the capacity to translate Vision into Reality’

April 21 is celebrated as ‘Green Day’ at Blue Bells Preparatory School to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Sh. B.D Gulati ji, Hon’ble Founder Chairperson, Blue Bells Group of Schools. Sir’s vision of a’ Clean and Green Gurugram’ and his philosophy ‘Create a greener world before it becomes a fantasy to our next generation’ have inspired each one of us at Blue Bells to take all measures and steps to keep our city and surroundings green and clean.

A Special Assembly was conducted virtually in all classes on this occasion. Different activities were planned to sensitize the students about the conservation of our green heritage. Students of class II expressed their gratitude and spoke about Sir’s contribution to the society. Dance drama ‘Nurture Nature Save the Future’ was presented by the students of classes I and II with a message that what all measures we should take to make Our Mother Earth a Happy place again. Tiny tots of Blue Bells Preparatory School planted saplings at their home and pledged to fulfill Sir’s dream of a ‘Clean and Green City.’ The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal urged the students to uphold the values that Sir so deeply cherished.

‘The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals’

To make the students aware of our culture and to sensitize them towards their responsibilities, a special virtual assembly was conducted to celebrate Baisakhi and to commemorate the Birthday of the ‘Father of Indian Constitution’, Dr. B.R .Ambedkar. Students of class II spoke about the significance of the festival of Baisakhi and danced to the rhythmic beats of Bhangra and Gidda. They also presented a talk highlighting the life and work of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and his immaculate contribution in framing the Indian Constitution.  The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal addressed the students and on behalf of the Management, extended their greetings to all on the occasion of Baisakhi  and wished that the harvest festival brings endless joy and happy moments for all.

‘Prayer is the root, the fountain, the mother of a thousand Blessings’

The auspicious Hawan Ceremony was performed in Blue Bells Preparatory School   to mark the inauguration of the new academic session 2021-22 and to seek the divine blessings of the Almighty. The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal performed the Puja along with the staff members of the school and conveyed her blessings and best wishes to all on behalf of the Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

‘To go with the mustard flowers bloom,

Worship Goddess Saraswati with all divinity,

and share knowledge and wisdom with all the swoon’

A special assembly on the occasion of Basant Panchmi was held on 16th Feb 2021 virtually by all the staff and students of Blue Bells Preparatory School.

The headmistress Mrs Anu Sehgal along with the staff members performed Saraswati Puja.

She blessed the students and said that Goddess Saraswati will always shower her choicest blessings upon each of them.

The deity of knowledge and wisdom was worshipped with great respect and ardour. Students of all classes Nursery to Class 2 recited poetry, shloks, sang and danced on the Saraswati Vandana.

They also spoke about the significance of this festival and the advent of spring season.

The Management and the Headmistress, Mrs Anu Sehgal extended their greetings and blessings to all the students on this divine occasion.

‘Grandparents, you are a treasure of our family, a gift of greatest price. There’s no one quite as special and no one quite as nice ‘

Such was the sentiment echoed by the young Blue Bellians, who celebrated a virtual Grandparent’s Day, with great fervour and enthusiasm on 3rd October 2020. The event began with a welcome address by the Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal. The students of Nursery to Class II put up wonderful performances comprising of songs, dance, skit for their dear grandparents. The very talented and enthusiastic grandparents participated in the entertaining Bollywood Quiz organized for them.

The Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools, conveyed their heartfelt wishes to the grandparents on the occasion.

Gandhi Jayanti and the Birth Anniversary of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri were celebrated on the virtual platform, by the students of Blue Bells Preparatory, with great respect and adulation for the great leaders and freedom fighters. Melodious rendition of Gandhiji’s favourite bhajans, a talk by the students, enactment depicting Gandhiji’s philosophies and ideals, the creative making of the ‘Charkha’, marked the celebrations in the special assemblies conducted by all the classes – Nursery – II.

‘Priceless thread, Rakhi, is the epitome of love between brother and sister’

The festival of the bond of relationship between a brother and sister was celebrated virtually with great zeal and ardour, by the students of Blue Bells Preparatory School.

Dressed in colourful attire, the students of classes I and II celebrated this festival in special assemblies. Students spoke about the significance of the festival, how it is celebrated in different parts of India and also danced to the tunes of popular songs. The little ones of classes Nursery and LKG depicted the significance of the festival through enactment and making beautiful Rakhis with paper, beads ribbons etc...

The Management, Blue Bells Preparatory School and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal extended their greetings and wishes to all on this auspicious occasion.
