Dussehra and birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi ji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji were celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Blue Bells Preparatory School. Students of UKG paid their tribute to Gandhiji and Shastriji by sharing the important teachings of these two great leaders.

This was followed by Dussehra celebration. Students Of Nursery and LKG presented a melodious rendition of a poem ‘Raja Ram bade Veer the’

The victory of good over evil was depicted through spectacular performances - dramatization, songs, dances and narration. The life of Lord Rama and his victory over Ravana was well presented by the little ones of LKG. Tiny Tots of Nursery and LKG presented a beautiful dance celebrating the spirit of -Dandia Dance.

The celebration was a part of our philosophy of ‘learning by doing’ and thereby inculcating in the students, the values of honesty, respect and obedience, which are the core of our Indian epic, Ramayana, that reinforced the message- ‘good always triumphs over evil.’

The children were beautifully dressed up to play the roles of the mythological characters from Ramayana and the sprightly Dandia dance, which they did with great poise, confidence and expression.

The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal applauded the students for their amazing efforts. She addressed the students and urged them to follow the path of truth, honesty and righteousness. On behalf of the Management, she extended warm wishes and greetings to the students, parents and staff members.
