The students of Grade II organized a special assembly on 13th April 2026 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar along with the celebration of the harvest festival, Baisakhi.
During the assembly, the young learners honoured Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, respectfully known as Babasaheb, for his invaluable role in drafting the Constitution of India. Through the talk, they shared insights into his life and achievements, spreading awareness about his significant contributions among their peers.
A talk on the significance of the festival of Baisakhi was also presented by Grade II students in which they spoke some important facts about the festival followed by melodious rendition. The program ended with a group of students presenting a colourful and energetic dance performance showing a true essence of the rich cultural heritage of the country and the true flavour of Punjab. The vibrant costumes and the rhythmic footwork added much fun to the enriching assembly.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal addressed the students and on behalf of the Management, extended their greetings to all on the occasion of Baisakhi and wished that the festival brings endless joy, prosperity and happiness for all.
