‘Teaching is a great way to keep learning’

In an effort to acquaint the parents of LKG students with the latest teaching and learning strategies, adopted at Blue Bells Preparatory School, a session- ‘Fun with Numbers’ – a part of the ‘Back to School Series’, was organized on 07.09.2024 under the able guidance of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development & Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The session provided the parents with the same learning environment that their little ones experience in school. They were kept engaged throughout the session with number of interactive and fun filled activities.

A ‘Gallery Walk’ was also organized in the school premises where the parents witnessed the progression of the work done by their wards in the school and the trans-disciplinary approach wherein all the domains of learning are interwoven in the theme.

The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal addressed the august audience. She also extended her greetings to the parents on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. She interacted with the parents and urged them to be constantly engaged with their children and adopt the same teaching learning techniques at home for developing numeracy skills in them.

The very enthusiastic parents gave their valuable feedback and conveyed that it had been an enjoyable learning experience. They expressed and agreed that adopting new teaching-learning strategies would be very effective while teaching their little ones.

The students of Blue Bells Preparatory School put up a beautiful show to celebrate Teacher’s day with great reverence and grandeur on 4th September 2024. They expressed their love and gratitude and paid tribute to their teachers through very creative and lovely handmade cards. The programme incorporated a talk, poem, song, dance and acrostic poem indicating how teachers play a vital role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings.

The Management and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal extended their heartfelt wishes to the teachers and applauded the students for the extraordinary programme. She urged the students to always be virtuous and respectful towards their teachers.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated by the tiny tots of Play Group, Nur and UKG with great fervour & devotion. The students enacted a play and the little ones, dressed up as Krishna and Radha, enthralled all with their scintillating dance performance. The student of class UKG enlightened all about the significance of Janmashtami through a talk. The birth of Lord Krishna was very beautifully depicted by colourful Jhankis. Puja was performed by the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal. She wished all ‘Happy Janmashtami’ on behalf of the Management, Blue Bells Group of Schools.

The day of pride- ‘Independence Day’ was celebrated by the students of Blue Bells Preparatory School with great fervor and patriotic sentiments.

The celebrations began by hoisting the National flag by the Revered Chief Guest, Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools. The students expressed their sentiments of love for their motherland through a talk. The true colours of freedom was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of patriotic songs and poem, aerobics, synchronized fusion of dumbbell-lezim drill and stupendous dance performances, showcasing the rich culture of our country.

Hon’ble Chief Guest, Mr. Ashish Gulati applauded, motivated and inspired the students to be confident and responsible citizens of the country and urged them to contribute to the progress of the nation.

Sir also honoured the winners of the Inter House Drawing Competition by giving away the certificates and prizes to them. He appreciated their efforts for exhibiting such beautiful creative skills.

The students were overjoyed to receive chocolates on the occasion of Independence Day.

‘Brothers and Sisters are as close as hands and feet’

To cherish the unique and sweet sibling bond, Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated by the students of Play Group, Nur and LKG with great enthusiasm. This special feeling of love and care was expressed by little Blue Bellians through a talk, melodious rendition, skit, colourful fashion show and stunning dance performances.

The Management and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal extended heartfelt wishes and blessings to the tiny tots on this occasion.

Doctor’s Day was celebrated at Blue Bells Preparatory School under the inspirational leadership of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director, Health and Wellness, Blue Bells Group of Schools and under the aegis of Health and Wellness program. In honor of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, class 2 students delivered a talk to educate the audience on the importance of this day. They also recited a beautiful rhyme dedicated to the occasion. 

The event was graced by Dr. Rekha Soni, the school doctor. She was warmly welcomed with a green welcome and a handmade thank you card. The school nurse, Ms. Kuljeet was also accorded green welcome. Through a Power Point Presentation, Dr. Rekha Soni engaged with the students, providing basic hygiene tips and explaining the importance and usage of the essential items in a First Aid box.

Class 1 students paid tribute to all doctors by reciting a lovely Hindi poem. Anu Sehgal conveyed her wishes and acknowledged the efforts and dedication of the doctors and Health care professionals.

Special Assembly on Van Mahotsav

“When you plant a seed, you plant a hope”

A special assembly on Van Mahotsav was organized by the students of grade II. They spoke confidently about the significance of this festival and recited beautiful poems on plants. The importance of the God Gifted flora around us was highlighted. They were encouraged to plant more and more saplings in their neighbourhood. This was followed by planting saplings by the students in the school. All the students took a pledge and promised to take care of the  green friends..

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2024-25

‘A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way’

 In Blue Bells Preparatory School, the Investiture Ceremony was organized to provide an opportunity for collective celebration and affirmation of shared goals and values. The newly elected Student Council for the session 2024-25 took a pledge to shoulder their responsibilities on 24^th July with dignity.

On this glorious occasion the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal inducted the newly elected members of the student council from Grade I and II. Ma’am conferred the representatives with the honour of badges and sashes.

Addressing the student council, the Headmistress urged them to embrace their duties to the best of their abilities. Adorned with colorful sashes and badges, the Prefectorial Board pledged to execute their duties diligently.

The Management and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the torchbearers for their newly acquired roles and wished them luck for the future.

‘Motherhood is a million little moments that God weaves together with grace, redemption, laughter, tears and most of all, love.’

Mother’s Day is a special day, the day that recognizes the essence of a mother, was celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School in high spirits and merriment on Saturday 18^th May 2024. The young talented MOMS came together to enjoy the festivities and showcase their extraordinary talent in the events- Upcycled Jewellery designing, Redesigning old hand bag and Fun-e-fusion dance performance.

Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion and praised the mothers for their enthusiastic and overwhelming response. Ma’am wished all the young mothers on this very special day and addressed them with her words of wisdom.

Heart-warming feelings filled the air with gratitude and appreciation when the students of Grade II presented talk. Keeping this special bond in mind the little ones of classes LKG and UKG expressed their love and welcomed their mothers on this special occasion with a melodious rendition and a rhythmic dance performance.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Hon’ble Founder Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools showered her blessings on all the mothers.

The Management and Headmistress also extended their heartfelt wishes to all the mothers.

The talented mothers were rewarded with a flower vase made specially by the passionate tiny tots as a token of love and affection towards their mother. It was an enjoyable and memorable day for all the mothers.

‘Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work’

To honour the priceless contribution of the support staff, Labour Day was celebrated in Blue Bells Preparatory School  on 1st May 2024 with full zeal and exuberance. The students of classes UKG and I presented talk on Labour Day followed by Nukkad Natak, a melodious group song and wonderful dance. The students were delighted to present handmade flowers to all the workers to express their gratitude and affection for them. They felt privileged to bring smiles on their faces on this day.

The Management and Headmistress appreciated the support staff for their hard work, dedication and devotion towards their duties in the school and extended their good wishes.
