Doctor’s Day Celebration -7th July 2025
‘Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity’
Doctor’s Day was celebrated at Blue Bells Preparatory School under the aegis of Health and Wellness program. With the inspirational guidance and mentorship of Dr. Alka Saxena, Associate Director, Social and Emotional Learning, a special assembly was conducted by the students of classes I and II where our young learners came together to express heartfelt gratitude to the real heroes in white coats – our doctors!
This day was specifically observed to honor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned physician, for his contribution in the medical field. The event was graced by Dr. Sanjay Bhatt, the school doctor. He was accorded a green welcome and was honored with a handmade thank you card. The school nurse, Ms. Kuljeet Kaur, was also accorded a green welcome. The doctor enlightened the students about personal hygiene, first aid and tips for keeping healthy in the monsoon season.
The students of Grade 2 highlighted the significance of celebrating this day, through a talk and poem. The Grade 1 students shared thoughtful messages on healthy living through creative messages on placards.?

A special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade II on the occasion of Van Mahotsav, the annual tree-planting festival celebrated across India to promote environmental awareness and the importance of trees in our lives.
The assembly began with a morning prayer followed by English and Hindi news, a thought for the day related to nature and conservation. A talk was delivered emphasizing the origin of Van Mahotsav, its importance, and the urgent need to protect our environment followed by Hindi and English poems.
Students presented a dance highlighting the significance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change. The audience was captivated by the impactful message delivered through wonderful dance performance.
To mark the occasion, plantation drive was conducted wherein the students along with the teachers, planted saplings in the garden area. The students were encouraged to take responsibility for the environment and reminded them that small efforts can lead to big changes.
The assembly concluded with a renewed sense of commitment among students to protect and nurture the environment.

B.D Gulati ji, Hon’ble Founder Chairperson,?Blue Bells Group of Schools, a visionary leader who promoted green environment and advocated sustainability. The Headmistress, staff and students of Grades I and II celebrated this day as ‘Green Day’- a heartfelt tribute to our guiding light whose ideals continue to inspire and uplift us. Sir’s cherished vision of a ‘Clean and Green Gurugram’ and his philosophy ‘Create a greener world before it becomes a fantasy to our next generation’ have inspired each one of us at Blue Bells to take all measures and steps to protect and preserve nature for generations to come.
The occasion commenced with a floral offering to the great leader and visionary, followed with a rendition of soulful bhajan by all.
The young eco-warriors of Grade II expressed their gratitude and spoke about Sir’s contribution to a green environment followed by a skit with a message that we should promote sustainable living practices. Students of Grade I recited a beautiful poem and held a ‘Green Rally’- an attempt to renew our commitment to protect nature.

The students of Grade II paid tribute to the architect of the Constitution of India, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, popularly known as Baba Sahib. They presented talk wherein they apprised the students of his great contribution in framing the Indian Constitution.
A talk on the significance of the festival of Baisakhi was also presented by Grade II students in which they spoke some important facts about the festival followed by melodious rendition. The program ended with a group of students presenting a colourful and energetic dance performance showing a true essence of the rich cultural heritage of the country and the true flavour of Punjab. The vibrant costumes and the rhythmic footwork added much fun to the enriching assembly.

She interacted with the parents and assured them that their wards will get the best education and will be nurtured with utmost care. Ma’am also guided the parents on how to nurture their children by not only focusing on academics but also healthy environment at home too. She laid emphasis on the collaborative effort of the school, home, parents and teachers that will definitely help the child in becoming a confident child.
The young Blue Bellians welcomed the audience through a melodious group song and a stupendous dance performance.
The parents were briefed about the norms of the institution, teaching methodology, curriculum, evaluation process, facilities provided, Health and Wellness programme, Safety and Security, sports and activities that are an integral part of scholastic and co scholastic areas of the enriched curriculum.
Many fun-filled activities were organized for the parents to promote parental involvement.
The programme ended on a happy and fulfilling note with the aim of helping our children grow into happy, skillful and creative individuals.
A large number of parents attended the Orientation Program and they left feeling proud to be part of the Blue Bells family.

The start of a new session is always a time filled with excitement. The tiny tots of Playgroup, Nursery and LKG, stepped into the school with bright smiles and were given a warm welcome on their first day of the new Academic Session 2025-26. They were greeted with a ‘tilak’ at the entrance gate. The school premises was decked up with colorful balloons and the atmosphere was made comfortable and cozy for the children. The teachers made their day enjoyable by organizing interesting activities in the form of stories, rhymes, dance, playing with them in ball pool, trampoline, etc. They were overwhelmed when their pics were clicked at the selfie booth. At the end of the day beautiful takeaways were presented to each child. It was an amazing experience to see the lovely smiling faces beaming with joy!

Blue Bells Preparatory School once again set a benchmark in excellence with its grand Annual Function and Prize distribution ceremony, themed on the legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji- A Warrior’s Tale. The event, held at Blue Bells Model School, was a magnificent display of history, culture, and artistic brilliance, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education and value-based learning.
The function was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Raj Rani Malhotra, Mayor, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Guest of Honour, Shri Tilak Raj Malhotra, revered guests - Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, along with esteemed dignitaries, Management Members, faculty, parents, and students. The evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful invocation to Lord Shiva, that resonated with cosmic energy and devotion.
Ms. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School welcomed the audience and presented the Annual Report highlighting the milestones and accomplishments of the school and students.
The Chief Guest, in her inspiring address, lauded the school for bringing history to life in such an engaging and meaningful way. She praised the 100% participation, initiative, noting that such opportunities help students develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
The prize distribution ceremony was another significant segment, recognizing academic and co-curricular excellence. The Chief Guest applauded the school's commitment to holistic education and encouraged students to emulate Shivaji’s principles in their lives.
The theatrical presentations depicted significant moments from Chhatrapati Shivaji’s life—his childhood dreams and the struggle for Swarajya . Each performance was brought to life with carefully choreographed dance sequences and gripping dramatic enactments, all designed and executed by the school’s talented team.
A key highlight of the function was the 100% participation of more than 360 students of classes UKG, I and II, showcasing their talent in a meticulously planned series of performances. The entire event was crafted in-house, with teachers working collaboratively on scriptwriting, screenplay, choreography, music, voice over, playback, slides, technical support, costumes, and set design.
The mega event concluded with the Vote of thanks, and the grand finale saw all participants come together for a patriotic tribute, resonating with the chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji!’ The audience gave a standing ovation, deeply moved by the power-packed performances and the tribute to India’s legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji—a name that echoes courage, wisdom, and an undying spirit of patriotism.
