Blue Bells Preparatory School once again set a benchmark in excellence with its grand Annual Function and Prize distribution ceremony, themed on the legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji- A Warrior’s Tale. The event, held at Blue Bells Model School, was a magnificent display of history, culture, and artistic brilliance, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education and value-based learning.
The function was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Raj Rani Malhotra, Mayor, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Guest of Honour, Shri Tilak Raj Malhotra, revered guests - Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, along with esteemed dignitaries, Management Members, faculty, parents, and students. The evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful invocation to Lord Shiva, that resonated with cosmic energy and devotion.
Ms. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School welcomed the audience and presented the Annual Report highlighting the milestones and accomplishments of the school and students.
The Chief Guest, in her inspiring address, lauded the school for bringing history to life in such an engaging and meaningful way. She praised the 100% participation, initiative, noting that such opportunities help students develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
The prize distribution ceremony was another significant segment, recognizing academic and co-curricular excellence. The Chief Guest applauded the school's commitment to holistic education and encouraged students to emulate Shivaji’s principles in their lives.
The theatrical presentations depicted significant moments from Chhatrapati Shivaji’s life—his childhood dreams and the struggle for Swarajya . Each performance was brought to life with carefully choreographed dance sequences and gripping dramatic enactments, all designed and executed by the school’s talented team.
A key highlight of the function was the 100% participation of more than 360 students of classes UKG, I and II, showcasing their talent in a meticulously planned series of performances. The entire event was crafted in-house, with teachers working collaboratively on scriptwriting, screenplay, choreography, music, voice over, playback, slides, technical support, costumes, and set design.
The mega event concluded with the Vote of thanks, and the grand finale saw all participants come together for a patriotic tribute, resonating with the chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji!’ The audience gave a standing ovation, deeply moved by the power-packed performances and the tribute to India’s legendary warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji—a name that echoes courage, wisdom, and an undying spirit of patriotism.

The young Blue Bellians paid rich tribute to the architects of the Indian Constitution on the 76th Republic Day with great pride and patriotic zeal.
Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Ma’am unfurled the Tricolour on the grounds of Blue Bells Preparatory School followed by a well synchronized March Past by the students of grades I and II.
Mr. Prem Kumar, General Manager, Blue Bells Group of Schools also graced the occasion.
Feeling proud to belong to a glorious nation, the students, from Playgroup to Class II, participated in full strength to present a vibrant cultural programme that showcased their talent, commitment and dedication towards their nation. The students of class II enlightened their fellow mates about the significance of our Constitution and our Tricolor through a talk. The tiny tots of Play group, Nursery and LKG presented an action song and the students of Grades I and II portrayed the true colours of India through a patriotic rendition. The energetic Blue Bellians displayed a perfect synergy of body, mind and soul through a rhythmic drill and a captivating dance performance.
Hon’ble Chief Guest, Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools addressed the young Blue Bellians and appreciated the efforts of young ones for presenting such a wonderful cultural show and congratulated them for their commendable participation. She urged them to be responsible, dedicated towards their duties as a mark of respect for their motherland and take the liberty to always voice their thoughts without hesitation. Ma’am conveyed her greetings and warm wishes to all on this august occasion. She honoured the winners of Annual Athletic Meet 2024-25 by giving away the Medals.

Cricket is much more than just a sport. It’s a powerful teacher, instilling values of determination, teamwork and resilience. The Inter-House Cricket Competition was organized at Blue Bells Preparatory School on 18thDecember 2024, for the students of Grades I and II.
The event was a thrilling spectacle that brought together the four spirited houses of Cosmos, Daffodil, Pansy and Tulip. It was a celebration of unity and healthy competition, where students not only displayed their cricketing skills but also learned valuable life lessons on the pitch. Daffodil House secured the First position followed by Cosmos for the Second position. Pansy & Tulip vied for the Third position.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal awarded Mas. Darsheel Tyagi of Grade II as ‘Man of the Tournament’ and Mas. Advik Dwivedi of Grade I as ‘Man of the Match’. Certificates were given to all the players. Ma’am congratulated and applauded all the players for showing great sportsmanship.

‘Mathematics is the most beautiful and most powerful creation of the human spirit.’
To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sir S. Ramanujan, the great Indian mathematician, ‘Brain-O-Mathelatics’ – a Maths Carnival was organized for the parents of Grade I and II wherein the little mathematicians conducted fun filled brain-storming games for them.
As part of the Back-to-School Series, an initiative of Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools, the carnival aimed to give a platform to our kids, to showcase their mathematical skills through games and fun activities.
Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools and Madam Soumya Gulati, Deputy Director, Academic Development and Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion and interacted with the students. They praised the students, staff and parents for their collaborative efforts in putting up the gala event.
The event witnessed a great deal of enjoyment and excitement by the parents and students who participated with great enthusiasm in various activities that were thoughtfully planned and were spread throughout the brightly decorated grounds and run by the students. Many students, dressed up as clowns, magicians performed on stage. Students dressed up as reporters also interacted with audience and covered the whole carnival. Parents stopped to capture a memory of their kids with Santa at the Selfie Station.
The excitement wasn’t limited to just the games. Throughout the day, excited crowds could be found enjoying all the extra fun at the Creative Corner, Sports Corner and the Food Corner. The young Blue Bellians enjoyed the day thoroughly even while performing on stage, singing and answering riddles.
A Gallery Walk was also organized for parents to witness the progression of the themes-‘Celebrations Across India’ for Grade II and ‘Landforms’, for Grade I students. The recitation of poems, explanation of theme boards, Timeline of Festivals, was done very confidently by the students.
The Management and The Headmistress, Ms. Anu Sehgal praised and applauded the students for demonstrating their love of learning by participating in the carnival. The overwhelming response of the parents was truly encouraging for all at Blue Bells. Children’s Day Celebration
‘Children are innocent, children are mischief, and children bring a smile on everyone’s face’
Children’s Day was celebrated in a very special way on 14th November to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The students of grade II paid rich tributes to their dear Chacha Nehru.
It was an enjoyable day for the little ones as they had unlimited fun, spending mesmerizing moments with their friends and teachers as they danced and sang along with them. They enjoyed sumptuous tiffin along with their classmates.
The Management and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal extended their heartiest wishes and blessings to the little children. Their eyes lit up with joy as they received chocolates and colourful sippers from school.

The event displayed the talents of the young students while engaging them with the vital concepts of peace in various context- personal, community and global.
The programme started with the auspicious Diya Lighting ceremony by the distinguished guests. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools graced the occasion with her benign presence as Chief Guest and praised the outstanding performances of the little ones. She honoured and motivated the participants by giving away the prizes to them. Mrs. Anu Sehgal, Headmistress, Blue Bells Preparatory School accorded a warm welcome to all the esteemed guests. A galaxy of distinguished members of the jury, Dr. Chitra Sharma, Ms. Nayanika Ghosh, Ms. Sonia Pathak, Mr. Ajit Kumar, Mr. Jaun Vishesh, Ms. Rimpy Verma and Ms. Manu Tiwari were present for the event.
Many reputed schools of Gurugram participated in the multihued extravaganza. The little wonders showcased their talent through an array of creative activities – Itsy Bitsy Artsy, Tingle Jingle, Blissful Yoga, Crafty Creations, Swing in Harmony, Peace with Beats and Shades of Peace.

In the event ‘Blissful Yoga’ for class UKG DAV Public School, Sec-49 won the First prize, Blue Bells Preparatory School the Second prize and DAV Public School, Sec-14 the Third prize.
In the event ‘Crafty Creations’ for class I Blue Bells Preparatory School bagged the First prize, DAV Public School, Sec-14 won the Second prize and Amity International School, Sector 43 the Third prize.
In the event ‘Swing in Harmony’ for class I Blue Bells Preparatory School bagged the First prize, DAV Public School, Sec-14 won the Second prize and Beansprouts Pre-Primary School the Third prize.
In the event ‘Peace with Beats’ for class II Blue Bells Preparatory School clinched the First prize, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School won the Second prize and Gyan Devi Kindergarten, Sec-10 the Third prize.
In the event ‘Shades of Peace’ for class II Blue Bells Preparatory School clinched the First prize, DAV Public School, Sec-49 won the Second prize and Shalom Hills International School, the Third prize.
The coveted Overall Trophy was clinched by Blue Bells Preparatory School. Mr. Ashish Gulati, Vice Chairman, Blue Bells Group of Schools, members of the Management and the Headmistress, Mrs. Anu Sehgal congratulated and applauded the efforts of the little ones and the gala success of the event.
